A little about us... |
|
Cindy and I live in the Houston, Texas area. We ride as much as we
possibly can. We love it. And, no... Cindy doesn't ride her own bike.
She says she would miss riding with me and being able to take in the
view and to take a bunch of the great photos you see on this site!.
We are striving to be better servants of JESUS. We believe that HE
allowed us to get our 2004 Ultra Classic. We think that HE would be
riding HIS Harley today.

A couple of months back, we ran into some friends of ours whose
little boy, Jack, fell in love with the Harley. Not just to sit on it,
mind you.... oh, no, we started it up and he kept begging for us to
'rev it up!'

Father's Day, 2005 |

Skip's oldest came down with her
boyfriend and our granddaughter. Everyone got to go for a ride and
Sunday we went and spent the day in Galveston. |

| After I took "T" on a ride, the first thing she did
was to jump off the bike and run up to her mom and say, "Ha, Ha, I got
to ride paw-paw's Harley first!" |

Some really good friends (who we
wouldn't have met, except they are fellow Harley owners) invited us up
to their folks lake house. What a great, relaxing day it was! |

To become a
 "Road
Captain," at least with The Woodlands Harley Owners Group, you must
successfully complete the Experienced Rider's Course, plus attend our HOG
Road Captain Training Course and then successfully lead two sanctioned rides
as a 'Road Captain trainee' with an experienced RC as your "sweeper."
Skip is a HOG Life Member and a Road
Captain with The Woodlands HOG. Cindy is a HOG member and a member of
the Ladies of Harley.
We had the windshield etched by Pete the
Greek at the 2005 Louisiana HOG Rally.

Have I got a great wife, or what? For
our anniversary, she surprised me with some new chrome for the bike AND a
set of LED lights.
